Pairing Instructions
- Place the SpyderWash Hub in Discovery Mode
Unplug the power cord from the Hub or electrical outlet, then plug it back in and wait for the solid light on the Hub to begin flashing.- If the Hub has green lights (1st Generation), you must wait 30 seconds.
- If the Hub has blue lights (2nd Generation), you must wait 90 seconds.
The Hub will stay in Discovery Mode for 7 minutes.
- Pair the SpyderWash Control Board with the Hub
Unplug the power cord or use a circuit breaker to power off both the machine and the SpyderWash Control Board. After a few seconds, power them on and observe the card reader as it initializes. You must ensure that you obtain ‘HubData=Acquired’ and ‘Profile=Acquired’.
If you see ‘HubData=Default’, then the SpyderWash Board did not pair with the Hub.
If you see ‘Profile=Default’, then the SpyderWash Board was unable to reach our servers.
- Verify that the SpyderWash Control Board is Online
The price of the machine will be displayed on the card reader shortly after you obtain ‘Profile=Acquired’. Now you can use a SpyderWash Loyalty Card or a Credit/Debit Card to perform a test transaction.
Network Settings
- The SpyderWash Hub requires a direct connection to a modem/router via Ethernet.
- The modem/router must be configured to use a Dynamic IP address so that network settings from the Internet Service Provider (ISP) are automatically received.
